Project Overview
The Ohio Cannabis Health & Business Summit, commonly known as OCHBS, is one of Ohio’s leading cannabis industry events. The summit brings together medical patients, caregivers, dispensary operators, retail buyers, healthcare professionals, entrepreneurs, cultivators, processors, investors, advocates, technology leaders, and government/regulatory professionals. For 2026, the event is positioned as the 6th annual OCHBS and is scheduled for September 23–24, 2026, at the Greater Columbus Convention Center in Columbus, Ohio.
STS Media helped develop a digital platform that supports the event’s growth from a basic conference website into a full event marketing hub for attendees, exhibitors, speakers, sponsors, merchandise, registration, and event education.
The Challenge
OCHBS needed a website that could speak to multiple audiences at the same time. The site had to serve consumers interested in cannabis wellness, business owners looking for networking opportunities, exhibitors evaluating booth opportunities, speakers applying to participate, and sponsors looking for high-visibility brand placement.
The site also needed to communicate the scale of the event. OCHBS promotes 150+ exhibitors, thousands of expected attendees, expert speakers and panelists, workshops, patient forums, live demos, and medical marijuana certification opportunities. The challenge was to organize all of that information into a website that feels easy to navigate while still presenting the summit as a major statewide cannabis event.
The Solution
STS Media created a structured event website that separates the user journey into clear pathways: attend, exhibit, plan your visit, explore the conference program, shop merchandise, and contact the OCHBS team.
The website gives attendees the ability to learn about the event, review the conference program, discover featured speakers, register for tickets, explore venue details, and join the newsletter. For exhibitors and sponsors, the site includes exhibitor information, sponsorship package access, exhibitor applications, sponsor visibility, and event marketing resources.
The site also includes e-commerce functionality for official OCHBS merchandise, including hoodies, T-shirts, hats, and other branded items. This extends the event brand beyond registration and creates another way for the community to support and represent the summit.

The navigation is built around action. Visitors can quickly understand whether they should register, apply to exhibit, apply to speak, review the conference program, or explore sponsor opportunities.
Content Strategy
The website content was built to make OCHBS feel like more than a one-time event. It presents the summit as a statewide platform for cannabis education, advocacy, business development, product discovery, and professional networking.
Key content areas explain who should attend, what attendees can expect, why exhibitors should participate, and how the event connects Ohio’s cannabis ecosystem. The conference program section highlights topics such as medical cannabis education, adult-use market growth, cultivation, processing, dispensary operations, compliance, patient advocacy, wellness innovation, product trends, and emerging business opportunities.
Outcome
The completed OCHBS website gives the event a stronger digital foundation for growth. It supports attendee registration, exhibitor interest, sponsor visibility, speaker promotion, newsletter growth, merchandise sales, and event education from one centralized platform.
The result is a professional conference website that helps OCHBS present itself as Ohio’s largest cannabis conference and a key gathering point for the state’s cannabis community.
